Adventures from ICCFA & CANA

We’ve had a couple of great weeks attending industry conventions and meeting with our partners. We always appreciate attending these events and having the opportunity to see our partners face-to-face. Industry conventions provide an educational component and we look forward to speaking with other industry experts and sharing our tips and strategies on sales techniques generating leads.

ICCFA Wide World of Sales

There were a handful of people from NGL who attended the International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association’s (ICCFA) Wide World of Sales Dead Talks from January 23-25 in Las Vegas.

Our team left the sessions feeling motivated and inspired. The sessions included:

  • Sales: Killing It
  • Self-Management: Bury the Bad Habits
  • Cremation Opportunities: Don’t Let Them go Up In Smoke
  • Cremation: Heat Up Your Sales
  • Engagement: Unearth Your Customers

If you missed the convention, you can check out the presentations here.

Congratulations to the ICCFA Committee for their efforts in planning an excellent convention. The schedule of events was superb and smoothly coordinated, the speakers were knowledgeable and the layout was well-done.

Here are a few photos from the event:

CANA 2019 Cremation Symposium

We didn’t spend enough time in Las Vegas away from the freezing Wisconsin winter in January so we were thrilled to fly back and attend the Cremation Association of North America (CANA) 2019 Cremation Symposium & Art of Selling Cremation Preneed Summit from February 5 to 7.

NGL’s very own John Baker, Regional Vice President, presented on Progressive Marketing Concepts. John’s presentation focused on how funeral homes can best utilize all marketing channels to reach their customers.

His presentation also provided real-world examples on how thinking outside of the box can help your business succeed.
