Thank you to our group of NGL team members who recently volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Madison to make a meal for families. Ronald McDonald House is a nonprofit organization that is a home-away-from-home for families who have seriously ill or injured children receiving medical treatments. Ronald McDonald House provides families with a safe, comfortable environment at little or no cost so they can stay close to their hospitalized child.
Lois, Adam, Leah, Josh, Alex, Sydney, Chloe and Brittany spent their evening volunteering and helping to provide families with a fresh, home-cooked meal. The meals give families comfort and eliminates the need to think about dinner so they can focus on what’s most important – the health and well-being of their child.
Our thoughtful NGL volunteers made a delicious dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, cheese bread and a cookie for about 35 people. After purchasing the ingredients, they made and packaged the meal at the Ronald McDonald House, allowing families to take what they needed or to save the meal for later.
Additionally, they received a tour of the building and learned more about the families who utilize the facility. NGL is proud to support the Ronald McDonald House and honored to be a donor of the house expansion and renovation that took place.
