We are proud to support the American Red Cross – Wisconsin Region and their efforts to help people in our state and throughout our nation. In addition to the biannual blood drives we host in our building (look for our upcoming drive in August), we were the Presenting Sponsor of the 44th Annual Southwest Wisconsin Golf Outing.
This year the golf outing consisted of 36 teams of four and raised more than $140,000 to support the mission of assisting local disasters, helping our military families and collecting lifesaving blood.
With NGL’s sponsorship we had two teams participating in the golf outing. Thank you to Meta Hartman, Tate Benavides, Dustin Huset, Travis Stowers, Josh Burrington, Ben Haynes, Tony Karwal, Jon Frank and Rob Andrade for representing NGL during this event.
“It was fun participating in the golf outing benefiting the American Red Cross. It was a perfect day to support a great cause. The best part for me was teaming up with my NGL colleagues and spending time with people I don’t get to see often,” shared Travis Stowers, Procurement Specialist at NGL.
American Red Cross Meet the Heroes Reception
Prior to the golf outing, NGL was honored to offer our newly remodeled building for the American Red Cross Meet the Heroes Reception celebrating members in our community who are making a difference. NGL hosted the inspirational event to celebrate these outstanding individuals during an evening at the building.
Maria Lubick, Assistant Vice President, Corporate Communications and Community Engagement at NGL, presented the Community Hero Award to Mo Cheeks for founding Bread & Justice which donates its profits to a different local nonprofit each month. Thank you to Tony Karwal, Jake Steen and Maria Lubick for attending the Meet the Heroes Reception.
NGL is proud to support the American Red Cross. The organization is an asset in our community that provides funds for families who may have lost everything in a fire, is available in the event of emergencies, offers CPR training, collects and distributes blood and platelets and helps military members and families receive assistance if they need it.
