Congratulations to Lori Hogan on her retirement

Congratulations to Lori who is retiring after 40 years of service with NGL at the end of January! Lori has been a valuable member of our NGL team and has organized and promoted employee engagement through a variety of community involvement efforts.

“It is hard to believe I have worked at NGL for just over 40 years and my retirement is here. It seems like yesterday when I was interviewing for the job. I was 19 years old when I started and since then have been in many different departments and had a number of different supervisors. I can say without hesitation that each and every supervisor I have had has been wonderful,” shares Lori.

“Lori is an integral member of our team and will be missed when she retires. Her hard work and optimism have been a cornerstone of NGL’s foundation for four decades. We wish her happiness and an enjoyable retirement,” says Knut Olson, NGL President and CEO.

“Thank you, NGL for giving me 40 wonderful years. I will miss everyone! Take care and best to you all and to the future success of NGL,” says Lori.

“I’ve had the honor of working with Lori throughout most of my career at NGL. Lori’s experience, knowledge of NGL systems and history, and her relentlessly positive attitude have made her an invaluable member of every team. Lori’s substantial contributions are not limited to NGL’s core business. On top of being instrumental in the success of many projects she has always been willing to lend her time to efforts that impact the culture of NGL. She has organized golf outings, bean bag tournaments, blood drives and more events benefiting United Way than I can list. These contributions make Lori’s retirement all the more difficult. Not only are we losing a vast source of knowledge and experience, but we are also saying goodbye to a monumental influence on our culture,” shares Luke Plamann from NGL’s Information Technology department.

“I am definitely ready to retire, although saying goodbye to my coworkers will be extremely hard. When you work with people eight hours a day, five days a week you create a pretty special bond. Of course my last day will be filled with laughter and some tears, but I am very excited for the next stage of my life,” continues Lori. “My husband (some of you may know Brian, NGL’s retired CFO) and I plan to do quite a bit of traveling once this pandemic allows us to. And I plan on spending many spring, summer and fall days at our lake house. If some of you think you have seen the last of me, guess again. I will be back to visit NGL.”

Congratulations to Lori on her retirement! We greatly appreciate her dedication and outstanding commitment to supporting NGL’s customers and team members. We wish her the best of luck as she begins this new chapter!
