Generous NGL team members held a virtual supply drive last month donating 887 total items to benefit The River Food Pantry and The Bridge Ministry. The coronavirus pandemic has caused financial and emotional hardship for many people across our country and strained the resources available at local nonprofits.
887 food and personal care items donated by NGL team members through supply drive for local nonprofits.
At its heart, NGL is all about serving people and that extends through our employees to the communities in which we live and work. NGL selected The River Food Pantry, a nonprofit located near its headquarters in Madison, Wis., and The Bridge Ministry, a nonprofit located near its BrightBenefits office in Nashville, Tenn.
Team members were able to virtually shop for and donate selected food supplies and personal care items to the two nonprofits.
The River Food Pantry requested items like tuna, peanut butter, jelly, fruit cups, corn flakes, chili, black beans, etc. The Bridge Ministry requested personal care items like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, underwear, shaving cream, feminine products, deodorant.
The River Food Pantry provides food and resources to build a stronger community. Services include free groceries, meals and clothing, as well as lunches for children and teens. The River Food Pantry serves over 1,000 households a week.

The Bridge Ministry provides life-sustaining resources to alleviate the suffering of children, the homeless and the working poor. The Bridge Ministry collects and distributes clothing and nonperishable food items to those in need. It also provides backpacks filled with food on Friday afternoons so that they have food to eat over the weekend.
Thank you to all of our team members who generously donated to support people in our community. We are so fortunate to work with people who are compassionate and giving.
