When 88% of online consumers say they are less likely to return to a site after a bad experience, it’s important to make sure you provide the best online experience possible or you will lose their business before you even have a chance to talk to them.
We caught up with Welton Hong, CEO and Founder of Ring Ring Marketing who shared his top three online marketing tips based on questions he’s receiving from clients.
Welton’s recommendations are strategies you can easily implement into your marketing plan today. Below is a general breakdown of each tip but watch the video for the complete details.
Check your hours of operation
Google your company to see what shows up. Did you know Google offers businesses a free profile that can be edited? If you haven’t claimed your business page yet, you need to. Click here for more information on Google My Business account. Completing and updating your Google My Business profile makes it easier for customers and potential customers to find you.
If Google calls you, don’t answer
Many businesses are receiving phone calls from people saying they are Google. Many times these spam callers will offer to help you claim your Google My Business page but they are fishing for information by asking for your login and password information.
Phone number access and mobile view
Is your phone number posted prominently on your website? Potential customers aren’t going to click around your website trying to find your number. Most people will only stay on a website for 15 seconds before they close the page. If someone can’t easily find a way to contact you, they are going to go to a different website and it will probably be your competitor’s page.
In addition to having your phone number easy to find on your website, your website should be optimized for mobile because 58% of site visits are now from mobile devices.
