Elizabeth Kirchstein retiring from NGL

Congratulations to Elizabeth Kirchstein who is retiring from National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL) at the end of August. Elizabeth has managed the corporate philanthropy program and worked closely with the executive leadership team for nearly nine years, including supporting three of NGL’s President & CEOs.

“Elizabeth is a pillar in our community with her passion for philanthropy and community outreach. With her strategic direction NGL’s community involvement program has grown to serve a myriad of critical nonprofit organizations in the Madison community. She has developed a volunteer program that engages our employees in supporting a variety of worthy causes. She has also provided outstanding assistance to our leadership team and our board. We are grateful for her service to NGL and for her many accomplishments. We wish Elizabeth all the best in her retirement,” said Knut Olson, NGL President & CEO.

Elizabeth shared, “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of NGL. I’ve worked with outstanding colleagues and had the honor of representing NGL in its philanthropic efforts. Working at NGL the past several years is a highlight of my career. I’ve made many wonderful friends both at the company and through the nonprofits we support. I look forward to this next phase and I’m excited to stay involved and continue my passion to make our community a place where everyone can be happy and thrive.”

Elizabeth’s philanthropic endeavors extend beyond a professional level, she is also a board member for several local nonprofits, including Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Friends of PBS and American Red Cross – Southwest Region Wisconsin.

We are grateful for everything she has done during her tenure at NGL and wish her the best of luck during her next chapter.
