Congratulations to Judy Campbell on her retirement

Congratulations to Judy Campbell who is retiring at the end of June after 23 total combined years of service with NGL! Judy is an exceptional team player and valuable resource for information. With her many years of experience in the insurance industry she is often the go to person on the team for problem solving and implementing new processes.

“I started at NGL in 1980 and worked here for 17 years before taking a role at another local insurance company. In 2015, I found myself at NGL again. I’ve had a wonderful career at NGL and have enjoyed working with everyone,” shares Judy.

After working with Judy for two decades, Kathy Elkins, Senior Manager, Policy Services shares, “I met Judy when I was a temporary employee. She is a great teacher, mentor, support network and friend. Judy always supported me – whether it was work related or not. She basically taught me everything about the insurance business, from verbiage, how to read contracts and insurance laws, taxes and everything I know about the ins/outs of software systems. Whatever I wanted to learn more about, Judy was always ready and excited to teach me. I wouldn’t be the manager I am today without Judy teaching, guiding and supporting me during a lot of changes throughout the years.”

Alyssa Campbell, Judy’s daughter is a Senior Processing Specialist at NGL and has spent her entire career in the insurance industry because of her mom. “Mom has always had a passion for insurance and customer service. She is the reason why I started working in insurance too. She’s is a great source of knowledge and will be very missed here at NGL,” shares Alyssa.

“Judy took a chance and hired me many, many years ago. She always encouraged and supported me to take on new roles and challenges. If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be where I am today. It seems like an end of an era to me. She’ll be missed but never forgotten,” shares Erin Borja, Senior System Analyst at NGL.

Another team member shares, “Most of all we will miss her laugh, how she brightened up the office decorating for the holidays, and of course the never ending box of chocolate at her desk!”

“Judy always had LOADS of candy and licorice in her office. I loved it when she went on one of her Sam’s trips because she always came back with giant bags of candy. Anyone could go into her office on a good or bad day and take one, two, three, four pieces of candy,” continues Kathy. “When I would come into her office on a bad day, she would pull out the licorice and place it on her desk in front of me. I will miss Judy but I can’t wait to see all of the fun things she will do in her retirement.”

“NGL was more than a place to build my career, it was a place where I created many meaningful friends and memories. I will miss working with the great people at NGL and hope to cross paths with many of them again,” shares Judy. ” During my retirement, I look forward to spending time with my grandkids Saige and CJ. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Congratulations to Judy on her retirement! We greatly appreciate her dedication and outstanding commitment to supporting NGL and our customers. We wish her the best of luck as she begins this new chapter!
